From Hong Kong 🇭🇰, selling worldwide

Meet Doris. She runs a print on demand shop from Hong Kong selling personalized gifts worldwide, and in 2024 she added Ownprint jewelry to her Etsy shop. This is her story, in her own words.

Why she added jewelry to her Etsy shop

Doris was already selling personalized gifts when she went looking for jewelry to add to her Etsy shop. She chose Ownprint, and her reason was practical: "I don't need to keep any inventory, which makes things much easier."

The products earned their place. "I've received good feedback from my customers about the product quality," she says. That matters double when what you're selling is a gift.

480 orders, at her own pace

So far Doris has completed around 480 orders with Ownprint, and her dashboard shows 386 products published and ready to sell. She's open about the rhythm of it: sales differ from day to day, and some seasons are busier than others. On average, the print on demand jewelry brings her around $1,000 a month.

That's what a real start looks like: not a windfall, but a steady stream she built alongside the business she already runs, without buying stock or packing a single order.

"What I love most is seeing my customers happy. Personalized jewelry carries a special message or memory. It can become a meaningful keepsake for someone."Doris, selling with Ownprint since 2024

What it changed for her

The orders did something beyond the income. "Building this business has also given me more confidence," Doris says. "The sales show me that the customers like what I create." That confidence is what keeps her designing new pieces and growing the shop.

Her advice: start small

Doris keeps her advice simple, and it sounds exactly like how she built her own shop.

"Give it a try. You can start small and learn along the way."Doris
