This is one story from the Ownprint print on demand seller community.
Three years ago Andrea from Germany found Ownprint in a Reel. Today her print on demand jewelry shop on Etsy gets a couple of orders every day, and she runs it together with her husband.
Meet Andrea. She sells print on demand jewelry on Etsy from Germany, and has for three years now. She runs the shop together with her husband, and the whole thing started with an Instagram Reel. This is her story, in her own words.
Andrea didn't find Ownprint through weeks of supplier research. She found it scrolling Instagram. And who says scrolling social media never pays off? That was three years ago, and she's been selling ever since.
What made her stay is simpler: the products held up. "They have good quality products and great customer service," she says. "That's the first thing I get feedback on, that the quality is so great." When the first thing customers mention is quality, everything else about running a shop gets easier.
Today the shop has passed 3,000 orders, with a couple of new ones coming in every day. Her Etsy shop stands at 3,548 orders and €121,907 in revenue, at a 3.8% conversion rate. And it's a family effort: Andrea and her husband build it together.

Her favorite part is the feedback. "You can see how it impacts other people," she says. The jewelry goes out carrying someone's name or memory, and the messages that come back tell her what it meant.
Andrea's advice for new sellers is unusually practical.
First: just start. "It won't be perfect at the beginning, but you will figure it out on the way."
Second, the thing she says nobody talks about: taxes. Figure them out and register your business properly. It's not the exciting part of the work, but it's what turns a side project into a real business.
And third: keep growing. "We reinvest constantly in our growth, to be better."

[00:00]Hi, I'm Andrea from Germany. I'm selling print-on-demand jewelry since three years already. I found Ownprint on some Instagram Reel.
[00:13]So now we have over 3,000 orders. It's like a couple of orders daily. I like to work with Ownprint because they have good quality products and great customer service. That's the first thing I get feedback on, that the quality is so great.
[00:37]And yeah, it changed our life. We are making it together with my husband. We have some really steady income from it now.
[00:50]The best part of it is this feedback from our customers. You can see how it impacts other people.
[01:04]And for the new seller, I would advise: just start. It won't be perfect at the beginning, but you will figure it out on the way. And one of the most important things nobody talks about is taxes. You need to have it figured out and register your business.
[01:25]And the third part is constantly growing and learning. We reinvest constantly in our growth, to be better.
[01:36]So yeah, thank you, bye.
